The hysteresis cable reel motor transmits power to the hysteresis coupling, and after deceleration, the amplified torque is transmitted to the reel. The motor always rotates in the direction of retracting the cable. When releasing the cable, the tension generated by the cable must overcome the magnetic coupling force and make the reel run in the opposite direction. However, the cable is subjected to a greater tension during use, which will reduce the service life of the cable. It has been proved that the hysteresis reel is not suitable for long-term work. When the torque cable reel is retracted, the rotating magnetic field of the stator is the same as the rotor rotation direction, and the motor outputs mechanical power; when the cable is released, the rotor rotation direction of the stator is the opposite to the rotor rotation direction, and the motor rotor is in an electromagnetic braking state. In addition, the torque motor has a softer characteristic, and the rotation speed is small when the rotation diameter is large, so it basically maintains constant tension.
